On Friday 12 July, the lecture period ends and with it the compulsory part of the university sports course programme. However, we are very pleased that many course leaders will once again be able to continue their courses during the lecture-free period (vfZ) this summer. The University Sports Centre will therefore be offering a wide range of courses during the lecture-free period from next Monday, 15 July until 13 September 2024 at the latest. This can already be seen in the Uninow app and on the well-known course booking page of the USZ under COURSES and can be booked from 12 July.
What does our vfZ offer look like and how will it work from 15 July?
The vfZ ticket will be available again! Pay once = book everything!
To take part in further courses at the vfZ, a new course booking is necessary!
The vfZ ticket is the basic fee and is charged once per course period as part of the first course booking.
After that, all courses can be booked free of charge (except for all-year programmes and health courses).
It is not possible to take part in a course without prior booking! Every participant must be checked in by the course instructor on each date. (Insurance cover)
Due to the school holidays, the municipal sports halls are closed and some courses will "move" to the Glückauf sports grounds. At the end of the day, we have always tried to offer at least one further course unit for each sport.
As usual, the one-off fee is staggered according to status groups: students pay €10 / employees pay €12.50 / external students pay €15
