Workplace reintegration management (BEM) is an important component of health management and is available to all employees who have been unable to work for more than six weeks (42 calendar days) continuously or intermittently within a year. The goal of workplace reintegration management is to initiate preventive measures for participation in working life as early as possible, restoring, maintaining, improving, or promoting the ability to work and remain employed.

Addiction has many faces: alcohol, medication, and drugs, but also eating disorders, gambling, excessive media use, or compulsive shopping. Those who are addicted are trapped in a vicious cycle and need support.
