On October 6, 2026, most of the courses offered for the winter semester will already be posted on our UNINOW course registration website, and you’ll be able to register for them directly online starting October 12. Most courses will begin the week of October 19. Additional winter-specific activities, such as ice skating, ice hockey, downhill skiing, and cross-country skiing, will be announced throughout the semester and promoted via our website and Instagram—stay tuned...! Successful Showing at the Saxon Public Authorities Championship in Eibenstock On September 19, 2026, the annual Saxon Public Authorities Championship took place in Eibenstock, featuring races over the marathon, half marathon, and 8-kilometer distances. Representing TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Ivonne Uhlig and Felix Heisel lined up for the half marathon. It’s that time of year again in early November: SV Großwaltersdorf is hosting its famous fall cross-country race for the 56th time. Once again this year, in addition to all other sports and running enthusiasts, all members of Saxony’s universities are explicitly invited to participate.
