Announcement: Fall Cross-Country Race and SHM Cross on November 1 in Großwaltersdorf

It’s that time of year again in early November: SV Großwaltersdorf is hosting its famous fall cross-country race for the 56th time. Once again this year, in addition to all other sports and running enthusiasts, all members of Saxony’s universities are explicitly invited to participate.

As part of the event, the Saxon College Cross-Country Championships will be held on the 11-km course. The competition will be divided into women’s, men’s, and team categories. For the team standings, the times of the three fastest runners will be added together for the women’s and men’s team categories, respectively. Teams must be registered by name. Mixed teams will compete in the men’s category. Eligible participants include enrolled students and staff members of Saxon universities, colleges, universities of applied sciences, and state-run academic institutions. Valid proof of affiliation with the educational institution must be presented when picking up race packets.
