TUBAF volleyball players win Saxon university championship

The TUBAF unisport volleyball players | SHM 2025 winners

The Saxon University Volleyball Championships for men and women took place in the HTWK sports hall on Fri 16 May. With great games and thrilling rallies, TU Dresden won the women's competition. The HTWK Leipzig team, supported by players from Leipzig University, was narrowly beaten.

The highlight of the day, however, was provided by the TUBAF Unisport volleyball players. In the men's final, TU Bergakademie Freiberg played against the team from Glauchau Cooperative State University. The Freiberg boys, who have been at the top of their game for years, were able to reward their performance with the gold medal this time. The second team from our UIni finished in 5th place.
